Hal Howard

Hal grew up in the south and has always enjoyed outdoor activities including camping, hiking, rappelling, white water canoeing and hunting. He holds a 4rth Dan black belt in Moo Duk Kwan and Hapkido with 29 years of practice and uses this in his personal protection classes. He is a veteran law enforcement officer of 19 years and obtained a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and sociology from the University of North Alabama. Eighteen years of his law enforcement career was dedicated to S.W.A.T. with a specialty in police sniper. In 2014, he and his partner placed 2nd in the international police sniper competition (Sniperweek).  He is the Southeastern representative for the American Sniper Association and is certified through the A.S.A. Around 24 teams in the nation hold this A.S.A. certification. Hal is an F.B.I. certified firearms instructor in pistol, revolver, shotgun, patrol rifle and sniper rifle. He is also a field representative for Horus Vision Optics and MDT Sniper Chassis systems.
