Canyoneering is the fastest growing sport in the Zion National Park region. The canyon experiences we offer will allow a visitor to experience views and hikes that very few casual hikers will ever see when they visit Southern Utah. We will provide the means for a visitor to enter some of the most beautiful slot canyons in the world, then safely instruct and guide novice canyoneers as they descend the canyons. The techniques we teach will allow the adventurer to traverse and problem solve basic slot canyon navigation, while having a fun, memorable experience.

Required Gear:

All technical gear provided. Students are required to bring their own food and water. We suggest a small daypack and a pocket waterproof camera. Wetsuits are optional depending on the canyon and the season. Consult with the guides below for more information on canyons that may require a wetsuit.

Shoes & Clothing:

A lightweight approach shoe or hiking boot is sufficient. Clothing depends on the season but we suggest quick drying clothes with layers that can be taken off.

Canyons Currently Offered:

  • Water Canyon (Beginner Level)
  • Birch Hollow (Beginner Level)
  • Yankee Doodle / Hidden Star (Beginner Level)
  • Neon Canyon (Advanced Level)

St George / Zion National Park area of Utah (Approximately a 2-hour drive from Las Vegas, NV).

Our guides have years of experience in the Zion Canyon region of southern Utah. Both of our guides are seasoned adventurers / canyoneers, active duty law enforcement and veterans of the US Military.

Beginner Level vs. Advanced Level:

Beginner level means average physical fitness with no experience canyoneering. Beginner canyons are completed in 5-7 hours. Advanced level means average physical fitness with some technical experience in vertical terrain (such as rock climbing at 5.5 – 5.7 or better level) or experience on rope in a vertical environment (rappelling/ascending). Advanced canyons may require 8+ hours to complete.

Weather Dependent

We cannot safely enter slot canyons if there is a chance of storms or flash floods. If we have to cancel due to weather on the day of your trip, then we will refund your money or choose an alternate day that works with your schedule.
