Basic / Intermediate Handgun

September 28-29, 2024

Location: Gallant, Alabama 

This two day class is designed for new handgun owners with an interest in carrying concealed and will cover the following:

-Fundamentals of firearms safety

-Mental and legal aspects of carrying concealed

-Proper draw stroke

-Proper grip and stance

-Reloading

-Post engagement and assessment

-Physiological response

-Reducing and dealing with malfunctions

-Unorthodox shooting positions

-Movement and retention

Required Gear:

Modern handgun in good working order

300 rounds of ammunition

Safe and secure concealment holster

Hat with a brim

Eye and ear protection

Shoes or boots with good traction (no crocs or flip flops)

Lunch/snacks for two days

Cooler with water, Gatorade etc.

Sunscreen if needed
