This 2-day class is offered to assist the parent with introducing a child into the world of the great outdoors. Subjects covered include cutting tool safety, fire making and safety, campfire cooking, shelter, basic compass use, what to do if you get lost, etc. For children age 8 and up (must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian).
